GET TO KNOW DR. SARAH
Sarah grew up in Irving, Texas, the youngest of five children. She graduated from Dallas Baptist University in 2006 with a BS in Biology, where she was involved in numerous campus activities, including serving as a Resident Assistant, leading New Student Orientation, participating in Baptist Student Ministry, and membership in the Alpha Chi academic honor society.
Education & Clinical Training
Dr. Sarah went on to attend the University of Houston College of Optometry, graduating in 2010. While in optometry school, she received several letters of excellence recognizing her clinical performance, reflecting the hands-on training that now shapes her approach to patient care, including her focus on pediatric eye exams and glaucoma management.
Family Life
Sarah and Dr. Justin Ward married in 2008 and have two sons, Crosby and Crockett. Together, the family enjoys traveling and camping.
A Love of Travel
Dr. Sarah is an avid traveler. She's visited South Africa, Kenya, France, Italy, Austria, Ireland, and various regions of Canada. She and Dr. Justin also love taking trips to Disney World with their family.
